Kim is like a big sister to me. Jim was a father figure and a man who displayed all of the characteristics she speaks of.
When I read this book, I heard Kim speak of purpose, resilience, and vision.
She’s right, when you have vision, others often attempt to reduce that vision to manageable a mindset. Every legend has pushed past that.
I do believe God places that vision within us. I don’t believe the church is all bad, but I hear Kim’s point. The church does have some issues. We’ve talked about this before.
